It is with sadness that we tell you that Antony Makurirofa passed away the 18th of May 2026 at his home in Masvingo, Zimbabwe.

We send our deepest symphaty and condolences to his wife Meria and the family.

May he rest in peace.

Antony has contributes to beautify our world with his large oeuvre of stone sculptures:  beautiful portraits and human figures, some quite small end delicate, others tall and impressive, always with fine features of the face. People at work or on the road carrying fire wood; and reliefs with a story, often taken from the Christian Bible, such as “Madonna” or "Visitor From The East".
