Biography

Titus Kasongo has been working with the Mukomberanwa family for many years, especially active as Anderson Mukomberanwa’s assistant until this extremely gifted artist’s untimely death in 2003, at the age of only 35. He then became assistant to Tendayi Mukomberanwa, who also took great effort in qualifying Titus’ own development as an artist in his own right.  

That is now accomplished as he passed the final exams with flying colours, and Titus has now introduced his son, Innocent to become a new student at the Springstone Trust Art Academy, which we welcome very much.

He has developed his own unique style, which has the roughness of a Mukomberanwa, combined with a certain kindness of his own.
